Early experiences as a set designer and body painter. Studied Fine Arts in London, UK, with an emphasis on installation and performance art at Chelsea College of Art (BA Hons), the Royal College of Art (MA) and the Central School of Speech and Drama.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=\u00bb15px\u00bb][vc_column_text]Hartmann\u2019s practice spans different fields of expression: visual arts, performance, directing as well as set and costume design. Her multi-media installations, drawings and short films have been shown internationally in group and solo exhibitions at the Murmansk Art Museum, the Castlefield Gallery Manchester, Flaggfabrikken Kunsthall Bergen, Beaconsfield London, CA2M M\u00f3stoles, Fabra I Coats Centre, Barcelona, Neue Froth Kunsthalle, Brighton and the State Art Gallery, Hyderabad. Her videos have been selected for the following film festivals: London LLFG BFI Film Festival London, LLFF Film Festival in Canada and NIO Video Festival in Pereira, Colombia.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=\u00bb15px\u00bb][vc_column_text]She has created set and costume designs for opera and theatre productions: <em>The Fairy Queen<\/em>, <em>La Margarita, Fidelio, Le Cinesi, Julo Ascanio and Daphne &amp; Apollo<\/em>, for Styriarte (Steirische Festspiele),<em> Cos\u00ec fan tutte<\/em>, Art House Opera and<em> Il Ciarlatano<\/em>, Compania La Baldracca. Theatre and performance productions include: <em>Inside-out Cave,<\/em> Beaconsfield London and Galeria Moriarty, Madrid. <em>The Last Assembly<\/em>, RESAD Madrid, <em>Momo<\/em> and <em>The Wizard of Oz<\/em> at Conde Duque Madrid.
